Enrollment: Registering for the Horizons Summer 2026 Program

A completed Horizons Salesforce application does not mean enrollment in Horizons Greater Washington. Your registration will be finalized once ALL Permission and liability forms are COMPLETED, SIGNED (by a parent or guardian and/or doctor if required), and UPLOADED to the student application. Laura Gallego, Program Recruiter, will send an email confirming that your child(ren) have been enrolled. 

Step-by-Step Enrollment

To enroll in Horizons, you MUST complete the following three-step process (described below):

  1. Complete the REQUIRED forms below.
  2. Create a Horizons Salesforce Account OR Log in if you already have an account.
  3. Complete the application and upload the forms from Step 1.

*Note: if your child has asthma, allergies, or requires an inhaler, please complete the documents further below. All medical forms require a doctor's signature.

  1. Create a Horizons Salesforce Account OR Log in if you already have an account by clicking here.

*Note: if you forgot your password, you can press forgot password and create a new password.

     3. Complete the application and upload the forms from Step 1.

*Note: All forms, including medical, if needed, must be uploaded.

Important: The Horizons Salesforce completed application email does not mean that your student has been accepted into the summer program. Only once you receive an email confirmation from Laura Gallego will your students be accepted.

A: No, but it is preferred.

Q: Are siblings automatically accepted into the program?

A: Yes, with a teacher recommendation.

Q: How long is the summer program?

A: 5 weeks

Q: What are the dates?

A: June 29 - July 31

Q: Is Saturday Academy six Saturdays in the Fall, six Saturdays in the winter, and six Saturdays in the spring?

A: Yes, Saturday Academy is 18 Saturdays from 9-2 pm

Q: Where does Saturday Academy take place?

A: Saturday Academy takes place at Bancroft Elementary School

Q: Is Horizons free of charge?

A: Yes, the program is free of charge.

Q: What are the times for the summer program? 

A: Varies per site, approximately 8:30 - 3:15 pm

Q: How many sites does Horizons have?

A: Two in DC, Maret and St. Patrick's and one in Montgomery County, at Norwood.
